DESCRIPTION:Join us to march in the Long Beach Pride Parade!\n\n\nUpdate!\n\nLong Beach Pride Parade Date: Sunday, July 10th\nMeeting Location: Ocean Blvd and Lindero Ave\nMeeting Time: 9am\nPlease arrive at the meeting location on time. We are required to have a signature on the release waiver from all participants. We can not check-in without having all the participants signed on the waiver, so please be there on time.\nWe will be near Ocean Blvd and Lindero Ave. (Formation area is between Lindero Ave and Redondo Ave.) We will have the big flag on the bluff so you can easily find us.\nAdditional Notes:\nPlease remember to bring water and sunscreen. If you are joining us with your dog, the asphalt can be hot enough to damage the paws of our canine friends, so it is recommended to bring covering for their feet if marching in the parade.\n\n\n\n\nEvery year, we march with the biggest rainbow flag sharing our love with a smile. Let’s march down Ocean Blvd and show our pride! Our goal is 100 people to walk with the rainbow flag!!\nLong Beach Pride Parade this year is on Sunday, July 10th, starting at 10:30AM. We will meet at the area near Temple Ave and Ocean Blvd at 9:00AM. – We will send you an update about the detailed meeting location and time later on.\nLGBTQ youths, adults, seniors, allies, volunteers, donors, and supporters – Everybody is welcome to march with us.\nThis is a super fun opportunity to march in the 3rd largest pride in California. Every year, we enjoy walking down the Ocean Boulevard holding the rainbow flag and waving to the participants with a smile. Most importantly, by marching with us, you are representing a great organization that helps people living with HIV and LGBTQ community!\nAbout AFS: We are a key resource to address food insecurity in greater Long Beach compassionately. We provide food to people with food insecurity, those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, and the LGBTQ community.
