SCHEDULE: Tuesday from 8 am –2 pm – Various shifts available
Location: AFS – 590 E. Willow St., Long Beach, CA 90806 (rear side of Yoshinoya)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AFS provides staple items to over 300 clients who are displaced or limited on income due to the current pandemic. Participants are able to access AFS (AIDS Food Store) once a week, four times per month, and take home a box of groceries per visit. We have a need for volunteers to unload & load said boxes to each participant &/or groups.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The desire to help improve the quality of life of the Long Beach community
• Enjoy working in a warehouse type environment, lifting 10lbs plus into various vehicles
• Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism & reliability
• Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills
• Spanish helpful
